Getting Garlic Smell Off Your Hands By Chris Mccormick of Finger Food Recipes So, you have been peeling and chopping garlic and now your fingers reek! Now matter how many times you wash them with soap and water, the smell just won't go away. Fear not! There is a simple solution. Just rub your fingers on some stainless steel. Yup, that's all it takes. We have a stainless steel sink in our kitchen that works well for getting that garlic smell off. We first rinse our hands with some water then rub our fingers on the edge of the sink making sure to get our finger tips and the sides of our fingers. It's really amazing, the garlic smell goes away immediately. If you don't have a stainless steel sink, then rub your fingers on a large spoon made of stainless steel but of course don't rub them on a sharp knife. Hope this info has helped.
